TangiTech Social Studies is a three day technology staff development program to help teachers become comfortable with available technology resources in the Social Studies Comprehensive Curriculum. GPS Technology and map skills are concentrated on but integrated into the other content areas. Participating teachers learn new technology skills and techniques while focusing on project-based activities that correlate with the Louisiana Social Studies Comprehensive Curriculum. Participants must have completed TangiTech 1 and TangiTech 2 before taking TangiTech Social Studies. After the three days of class, teachers will work in Blackboard to complete their GPS Geocaching Unit. Teachers may only take this class one time.

Participants earn 27 CLUS for completion of this class.
